Matariki!!

WALT: talk about what we did for matariki and also what we learnt about it.

Hi guys today me and my friends name Kiko and Sifa did a recording for our Matariki presentation. This is our video of what we learnt from Matariki this week. Our teacher gave us 20 minute and then she say if we need more times then one of us has to come back and tell her that we need more time. After our film it was right on time for cleaning up the class. What I like about our videos today was when we starts of our video like a newscast. Technology -Yr8

Hi guys today for technology we were doing some drawing about what we want our clock to be. Also we have to do two different types of clock. My first clock design was the Chicago Bulls and also my second design was a shield. What I like about technology today was when we got to do some art and also when visitor came inside our class, the visitor were from Whakatane. What I found challenging for technology today was when I have to try and do another design. My next step for technology is to make sure that I stay on task even though when no one is looking at me.

Fitness lesson

IALT: do a reflection about what I did for fitness.

For fitness all of the yr7 and 8 got to run around the whole field under 3 minute and 20 second. After our run around the field then we got split up into 3 groups. One group has to do pushups and situps under two minute. The reason why I like fitness is because it makes me fit and also it make me feel strong. My next step for Fitness is that I eat the right food for my body.

Drum Class 2017

WALA: How to keep the beat well playing the drum.

Every Friday after morning tea me and a few of my friend go down to the music room with Caleb and learn how to keep the beat on drums.When we get there Caleb sets us a challenge. The challenge can be drum roll contest or trying to remember and play what we practice last week. There is only one winner for our challenge. What I like about my drum class is that everyone remembers what they did the week before this week. Why I got to stay inside the classroom

Next time I should do at least 1 blog a day. The reason why I should 1 blog a day so that way I don't have to stay inside the class during break time. My school band

IALA: What we did at band and why we like it.

Hi this year i'm play the drum for our school band. What I like about the school band is that we all work together as a group and also we help out each other with their part. Also what I like about our band is that we are trying to learnt olden day songs like (Get Back) and Abc. The school band is something that they do a long time a go. my next step for band is make sure that I remember the beat and also how the song goes.

Weekends

IALA: What I did in the weekend.

Hi guys on the weekend I was at home playing play fight with my little nephew name Aj. After playing with Aj I went and eat KFC. On sunday I went to the church at Mt Roskill hall and it was the MGS's hall. After church we went back home and had lunch and our lunch was pork,taro,chicken and raw fish. after our lunch we to sleep and when we woke up we went to Otara and buy some hot bread and also we were going to my cousin's house. After we went back home and then everyone went to sleep except me and my brother name Eric because we went and watch TV and after we watch TV we went straight to sleep.
